The foundation we stand on
Like the early church, we continue steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine. These are the core truths we hold to and build our lives upon.
One God
"Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD."
The Bible is the inspired Word of God. It gives a true history of the creation of the earth and of mankind. There is only one God, the Creator of the heavens and the earth and of all mankind. This one God is Father in creation, Son in redemption, and Holy Ghost in regeneration and activity. He is the First and the Last, and beside Him there is no God.
Salvation
Salvation consists of deliverance from sin through the blood of Jesus Christ. It is accomplished through repentance from sin, water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and receiving the baptism of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives the utterance. This is called the New Birth, and it continues in the apostles' doctrine with a holy and consistent life.
No Soul Left Behind
Jesus makes two bold and declarative statements. In Luke 19:10 He says, "For the Son of Man is come to seek and to save that which was lost." And in Mark 16:15 He tells them, "Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone." So our mandate is to reach the city of Tampa with Bible salvation, as it was preached by the Apostles and the First Century Church.
